Starting approximately two weeks prior to holidays, including Spring Break, space becomes very limited. Therefore, reservations made online for those time periods cannot be guaranteed. Please call to make reservations during holidays to guarantee a space for your pet. Also, tours will not be conducted starting two days before holidays until two days after holidays (or the Tuesday following a weekend holiday) due to the high volume of guests that will be here during that time. This is for the safety of our guests as well as the fact that our staff will be very busy caring for them and will not be available to conduct tours.
If this is your first visit to Nana-n-Paws, and you wish to have a tour, please arrange to tour our facility prior to your pet’s visit. While tours are not mandatory, we always recommend that you to see where your pet(s) will be visiting. You will also need to bring your pet in for a temperament test and one day of daycare prior to their sleepover if they are new to Nana-n-Paws, as we must limit the number of singles (dogs who do not play with other dogs) we can take in, especially during holidays and weekends. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

*Some of our guests come in for a mid-day nap time from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Because staff members are taking their lunches while the dogs nap and have their lunch, there is limited staff available during this time period. Therefore, tours are not given during this time.
*Although tours are available on Saturdays, there may be a wait due to the high volume of guests at our facility and because the person checking in/out guests is the same person who does the tours. So, your wait time would be dependent on how busy we are at the time you arrive.
*TOURS ARE NOT GIVEN ON FRIDAYS, SUNDAYS OR DURING HOLIDAYS, INCLUDING SPRING BREAK. PLEASE ARRANGE TO VISIT OUR FACILITY DURING THE ABOVE LISTED TOUR TIMES PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED DROP-OFF.
We apologize for this inconvenience, but we have a very high volume of guests here during holidays, typically starting the day before a holiday or holiday weekend and continuing through the Monday after a holiday weekend or the day after a holiday. Our pet care providers are all assigned to supervising play groups and the office staff is overwhelmed with checking in and checking out our guests, covering the phones, verifying new client information, verifying vaccinations, inventorying our guests’ personal items, preparing care instructions for each guest and caring for the guests staying in the Senior Center / Respite and Recovery Center, Puppy Pen and Small Dog Center up front. There simply isn’t anyone available to do tours without leaving our guests unsupervised and therefore at risk. We apologize for any inconvenience, but the safety of our guests is our first priority.
*Because our guests get very excited when unknown individuals walk through our facility with their dogs, for the safety of our guests, your dog may enjoy visiting with a staff member in the lobby but cannot accompany you during the tour.
*As adorable as they are and as tempting as it may be, we have to insist that you do not reach into any enclosures, pet or touch any of our guests during your tour. If you bring children with you, please insure that they follow these guidelines as well. We will not be responsible for any injuries incurred as a result of disregarding this request. We appreciate your understanding of these tour guidelines as they are for the safety of all of our guests, and please know that we will protect your pet in the same way.
PLEASE TRY TO DROP YOUR PET OFF FOR THEIR SLEEPOVER PRIOR TO 3:00PM IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. THERE IS A $5.00 CHARGE FOR SLEEPOVER GUESTS DROPPED OFF AFTER 3:00PM. IF THIS IS YOUR DOG’S FIRST VISIT, RESERVATIONS CANNOT BE MADE ONLINE. RESERVATIONS MADE ONLINE ARE ONLY A REQUEST FOR A RESERVATION. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL NOTIFYING YOU THAT YOUR REQUEST AS BEEN RECEIVED. BUT THAT IS NOT CONFIRMATION. ONCE STAFF RECEIVES YOUR REQUEST THROUGH THE WEBSITE, WE HAVE TO ACTUALLY SCHEDULE IT BASED ON AVAILABILITY. PLEASE CALL TO CONFIRM THAT YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN MADE.
